About Office of Equity & Inclusion
Mayor Tim Keller restructured the former Human Rights Office into the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the Office of Civil Rights to better address racial disparities and to achieve equity across all populations and indicators.
The Office of Equity and Inclusion is made up of the following liaison offices in order to build working relationships and make city government more accessible to all:
- Immigrant and Refugee Affairs
- Native American Affairs
- Black Community Engagement
In addition, the Office of Equity and Inclusion develops and maintains working relationships with LGBTQ and disability community advocates.
