August 29, 2025

We need to double down to save our kids. We’re partnering with APS, the County, and United Way to expand internships, career academies, and school-based violence intervention programs that keep students safe, engaged, and on track for success.

Albuquerque is going all in on Quantum. This once-in-a-generation leap in technology will power everything from medicine to national security, and we’re positioning our city to be a global leader in the Quantum era.

If you weren’t able to join us, I invite you to watch the full State of the City speech online at cabq.gov/sotc, or catch the rebroadcast on local channels. You can find the full schedule on the website.

We still have a ways to go, but there is no turning back now. Albuquerque has always been resilient. We’ve been counted out before, but our comeback is real and it’s growing. Together, we’re building a safer, more affordable, and more hopeful future for every family.

Sincerely,

Mayor Tim Keller
