First Responders Receiving Area?

Operated by Community Bridges Inc., the Receiving Area is the place at the Gateway Center where first responders can drop clients off who need help figuring out their next step during evening hours when other offices are closed.

Not a medical facility, but a resting place and connection point to needed services. Only first responders may bring clients to the Receiving Area. 

In the morning, clients receive assistance in planning their next steps which could include another Gateway Service. 

Support staff can help guests: 

  Find the right local shelter option

  Get a ride somewhere 

  Reunite with family outside Albuquerque
