Early Learning Programs (Ages 3–5)
Help your child build the skills they need for a successful start in kindergarten through the City of Albuquerque's free and low-cost early learning programs. Children learn through hands-on, play-based activities in safe, nurturing classrooms led by caring, qualified teachers.

- Counting, shapes, sorting, and other early math skills

Our programs follow New Mexico Early Learning Guidelines and are designed to prepare children for kindergarten while supporting each child's individual development.

Which Program Is Right for My Child?
Early Pre-K
For children who turn 3 years old by September 1.
NM Pre-K
For children who turn 4 years old by September 1.
The City of Albuquerque has proudly offered NM Pre-K since 2005.
