Memorial and Blessing Ceremony
Community members joined Councilor Klarissa Peña and Councilor Ken Sanchez to honor Mr. Kee Thompson and Mr. Allison Gorman.

Over 200 community members joined Councilor Klarissa Peña and Councilor Ken Sanchez at the memorial service to honor and remember the two homeless men who were brutally murdered July 2014.
Councilor Peña extended her condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Gorman and Mr. Thompson.
Our hope is that this site will be transformed into a public space to memorialize these two men. We must work together to end homelessness, provide rehab and mental health and substance abuse services. We must not forget those who are vulnerable in our community.
