The purpose of this meeting is to obtain public input on the Personnel Board Rules and Regulations. The public hearing allows members of the public an opportunity to submit testimony and arguments in person on the proposed rule above.

Authority: Public Boards, Commissions and Committees, ROA 1994, §2-6-1-4(C)(1).

The Personnel Board General Rules govern the Board’s powers, duties, general administration, Board organization, procedures, and meetings.

The Personnel Board Rules of Procedure for Appeals of Disciplinary Actions govern the Board’s uniform procedures for the conduct of grievance hearings by the Personnel Hearing Officers and the recommendations from the hearing officers to the Personnel Board.
