High School Internships

The ABQ BioPark is proud to offer paid internships to high school juniors and seniors from 16 to 19 years old. ABQ BioPark Interns will work part-time with one of our animal care or botany/horticulture teams assisting with duties such as providing food and water to animals in our care, preparing enrichment, speaking to the public about your area of assignment, and more! 

Internship details

• Eight week consecutive term with the team you are selected for
• Work schedule will be Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm
• Interns will be paid a $5000 stipend, payable in two halves at four weeks and eight weeks
