Hello Albuquerque,

Last week, we saw COVID-19 cases nearly double statewide and our city was no exception. It’s so important that we continue our commitment to the health and safety of our community and double down on social distancing, hand washing, and mask wearing. These measures aren’t only important when it comes to keeping ourselves and our families healthy, but they are helping us keep businesses open.

We want to make sure folks are able to safely enjoy some of our favorite fall activities, so don’t forget to look to the skies this weekend for our Balloon Fall Fest. While many City facilities and services are currently open, please stay home whenever possible and take all precautions when you are in public. We will continue to do all we can to support every Burqueño during this pandemic and we are grateful to each of you doing what you can to keep each other safe.

Stay healthy,

-Mayor Tim Keller
