Summer Recreation Program at North Domingo Baca

The Summer Recreation Program is offered for eight weeks, (June to August) every year to school age children and youth from 5 -12 years old. Children who are 5 years old at the time of registration must turn 6 by Sept. 1 in order to be eligible to participate.

Summer 2022 Program Dates & Hours

June 13 to Aug. 5 on Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Summer 2022 Lottery & Registration

Due to the high participant demand, a "lottery-style" selection of participants is used.

Register for the lottery at play.cabq.gov

Lottery Registration:  May 2 to May 13

Lottery Drawing:  May 16

Registration: May 18 to May 27

  • If your child is selected you will be notified by staff members with further instructions to complete the registration process.  
  • Once a program's registration is full, a waiting list is kept and maintained. Parents/Guardians of waiting list participants will be notified as space becomes available.

Summer Program Fees

Program Annual Fee

There is an annual multigenerational center membership fee of $20.00.  Unless the annual membership fee was paid prior to registration, it is required at the time of child enrollment.

Summer Program Monthly Fee

There is a monthly program fee of $30.00 per child.  All monthly program fees are due at the beginning of the month and must be paid no later than the first week of the month, otherwise the child may be disenrolled from the program


Winter Break Program at North Domingo Baca

The Winter Break Program gives our youth an opportunity to continue to stay busy, socialize and interact with other youth through supervised activities and events during the traditional APS calendar winter break.  Program is available for currently enrolled after school youth participants only. 

Winter Break Program Hours:

Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm.

Winter Break Program hours will be available December 20, 2021 - December 30, 2021, except for holiday center closures on December 24 & December 31. 

After School Program at North Domingo Baca

The After School Program gives our youth an opportunity to socialize and interact with other youth through supervised activities and events. 

After School Program Hours:

Monday-Friday 2:00P - 5:30P.

Transportation: 

Transportation is provided for enrolled participants from Edmund G. Ross Elementary to our North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center Site.

Registration Fee:
