UPDATE: APD identifies homicide victim

ALBUQUERQUE – APD detectives are investigating a death discovered on Tuesday as a homicide. The victim was identified as Ruben Lovato (7/19/1972.)

Lovato’s deceased body was discovered Tuesday shortly before 6:30 p.m. inside a car that had been parked for several days in the area of 504 Iron Ave., S.W.

Lovato’s cause of death was determined by an autopsy to be blunt force trauma. The investigation is on-going.
