Suspect in custody tied to shooting at lawmaker's home

ALBUQUERQUE – APD released the following update today about the investigation into gunshots fired toward the homes of several local lawmakers.

“Through the investigation, we have identified a suspect related to one of the shootings of an elected leader’s home. We also have the gun used in that shooting. This person is in custody but due to the sensitivity of this ongoing investigation, no other details will be released at this time.”

Anyone with information about any of the shootings is asked to call police at 505-242-COPS or Crime Stoppers at 505-843-STOP.
