29-year-old Vicente Atencio has been added to the Metro 15 List.
Atencio has an active felony warrant for Aggravated Battery upon a Peace Office (Deadly Weapon)(No Great Bodily Harm) and Battery upon a Peace Officer. Atencio also have an active felony warrant for Parole Violation.
The Metro 15 Operation is a targeted component of Mayor Keller’s Violence Intervention Program – a proactive effort to attack violent crime from all sides. The Metro 15 is a working list of top drivers of crime in Albuquerque. Since the programs induction, 68 offenders have been arrested.
