Homicide Investigation: 400 Dallas St NE

ALBUQUERQUE - During the early morning hours of Saturday, November 13, 2021, Officers in the Southeast Area Command were dispatched to numerous ShotSpotter Activations in the area of Dallas ST NE and Copper AVE NE around 4:30am.

Upon arriving on scene, they located a vehicle which that appeared to have crashed, and a single occupant with apparent gun shot wounds. The occupant had already succumbed to their injuries on scene. This prompted a APD Homicide Unit Call Out.

This scene is still considered active, and is large. Please respect taped off areas and the active, on going investigation.

Media is asked to stage at: Copper AVE NE/Charleston ST NE.  This may change due to the scene increasing in size as officers and detectives work to secure the entire scene.

UPDATE 11/14/2021

APD’s Homicide Unit released the identity of the victim who was fatally shot Saturday in Southeast Albuquerque.

The homicide is under investigation.
