Apparent Road Rage Leads to Driver’s Death

ALBUQUERQUE – Officers investigating a crash Friday evening in the Foothills Area Command learned the driver of one of the vehicles had been shot during an apparent road rage incident. Detectives were called out to investigate the incident as a homicide.

 

Officers in the Foothills Area Command responded to the crash involving a white Mercedes sedan Friday shortly before 8 p.m. near Montgomery Blvd. and Morris St. Investigators discovered that the driver suffered gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. According to witnesses, there were gunshots in the area and there was an argument the occupant of another vehicle at the time of the gunshots.
