APD releases additional details of murder-suicide

May 9,2022

ALBUQUERQUE – APD released additional details of the three individuals who died during a tragic murder-suicide Sunday at 10224 Coors Blvd Bypass.

The two victims were cousins. They have been identified as:

  • Alexia Rael 4/10/2005
  • Mario Salgado-Rosales 2/18/2006

The offender who shot Rael and Salgado and subsequently shot himself has been identified as:

  • Bradley Wallin 8/19/1969

APD homicide detectives learned during the preliminary investigation that Wallin had been in a past relationship with the mother of Alexia Rael. The mother last month filed a temporarily restraining order against Wallin after Alexia Rael made allegations of sexual abuse against Wallin. A hearing for a permanent restraining order was scheduled for late this month.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the sexual abuse allegations.

APD homicide detectives will continue to investigate the homicide.
