APD Officers Investigating Robbery in Northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE - APD Officers responded to a robbery call at a Circle K located in northwest Albuquerque just before 5:00pm today. When officers arrived they attempted to use their less lethal munition on the suspect, however he was able to get to his vehicle and drive away. The suspect proceeded to a nearby restaurant, attempted to exit his vehicle and crashed into an officer’s vehicle. Officers once again utilized less lethal .40 munitions several times and were able to take the suspect into custody.
No officers were injured during the incident.
APD Robbery Detectives responded and are actively investigating the incident.
