APD links two homicides and shooting from Christmas Day 2019

Public asked to call Crime Stoppers.

APD is asking for the public’s assistance to identify suspect and vehicle believed involved in two homicides and a third shooting on Christmas Day from 2019.

In the early morning hours of Christmas Day, December 25, 2019, an unknown individual(s) was driving a white SUV in the area of 1001 Madiera SE. An unknown person shot Paloma Sanchez who was in the parking lot. Paloma died from her injuries a short time later.

A second shooting took place near the intersection of Lomas and Louisiana. Christian Frescas was walking in the neighborhood in the early morning hours on Christmas morning, as was his routine. The same white SUV is seen on surveillance video stopping where Christian is walking. The unidentified person shot Christian, and fled the scene in the pictured white SUV. Christian was left on the street and died from his injuries.

A third shooting occurred at 6901 Zuni SE several minutes later. The same vehicle, which the victim identified as being a white Chevrolet Tahoe stopped. A male wearing a mask demanded money from the victim, and then shot him. The victim survived his injuries.
