APD launches shooting investigation

ALBUQUERQUE – The Albuquerque Police Department Homicide Unit is taking over a deadly shooting investigation in Northwest Albuquerque. Around 2am, APD Officers were originally dispatched to reports of a shooting in the area of 65TH ST NW and Milne RD NW, officers arrived to locate one individual who had succumbed to gunshot wounds on scene prior to their arrival.
Two more individuals sustained gunshot wounds and are currently at a local area hospital, in an unknown condition. APD Homicide is on scene taking over the investigation. Media is asked to stage near 64TH ST NW and Milne RD NW.
