APD investigating shooting resulting in one death and 3 injured

ALBUQUERQUE – APD Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, at 7:45 p.m. at the Mission Hill Apartments, located at 10044 Menaul Blvd. N.E.

Officers located two apparent residents of the apartment – both adult males -- who suffered gunshot wounds and a third man who was deceased as a result of a gunshot wound. The two injured men were transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A fourth adult male showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound. Detectives determined the man was also shot at the Mission Hill Apartments. He also survived his injury.

This is an active investigation.
