APD Investigating Shooting Death at Pat Hurley Park

ALBUQUERQUE – APD homicide detectives are investigating an overnight shooting death at Pat Hurley park on Albuquerque’s West Side.
Officers in the Southwest Area Command responded to reports of a shooting shortly before midnight on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at the park, located at 420 Yucca Dr., N.W. Officers located an adult male with gunshot wounds. Officers and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the man died on scene.
Detectives worked through the night and the investigation is on-going.
