APD investigating possible road-rage shooting death

ALBUQUERQUE – APD homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting as a possible road-rage incident that led to the death of one of the drivers.
Officers were dispatched to a shots fired call in the area of 2nd St. and Lead Ave S.W. Officers arrived in the area and noticed a vehicle crashed near 6th Street SW and Lead. The driver appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, where he died as a result of his wounds.
This is an active investigation.
