APD investigating possible murder-suicide

ALBUQUERQUE – APD’s preliminary investigation into Sunday’s homicide indicates a possible murder-suicide.

Officers responded shortly after 2 p.m. on Sunday to a call about a possible overdose. Upon arrival at a home at 5327 Montgomery Blvd., N.E., officers discovered two people who died from gunshot wounds.

The victim is identified as Isabella Bewley, 18. The second deceased individual is identified as William James, 21.

The incident appears to be a domestic violence incident that resulted in a murder-suicide. The investigation is on-going.
