APD Investigating Homicide in the SE

ALBUQUERQUE - Albuquerque Police are currently investigating a homicide at 8300 Central SE.

 

Shortly after 8:00 a.m. a call came in for a crash involving a pedestrian. However, after speaking with witnesses, the crash did not appear accidental.

 

This is an active investigation and more details will be released as they are available.

UPDATE:

 

Officers were dispatched to reports of a male who had been hit by a vehicle. Officers learned that witnesses stated the driver of the vehicle intentionally ran over the victim several times. The event ended in the parking lot of the Bow and Arrow Lodge located at 8300 Central Ave SE. Detectives are interviewing the witnesses and a suspect who was apprehended close to the scene, after fleeing on foot.
