APD investigating homicide in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE – APD’s Homicide Unit is investigating an overnight, deadly shooting at the Villas at Uptown.

Officers were dispatched to the complex, located at 6210 Indian School Rd., N.E., after reports of gunshots being fired. Calling parties reported a male lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds.

When they arrived on scene, officers located an adult male who was pronounced deceased by rescue personnel.

The investigation is ongoing.
