APD investigates delayed homicide

ALBUQUERQUE – APD’s Homicide Unit is taking over a death investigation from the weekend.

Officers in the Southeast Area Command responded on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, shortly after 6 p.m. to reports of an adult male who appeared to have been run over by a vehicle. Officers arrived and located the man, later identified as Tommy McCrae, 66, who died as a result of his injuries.

Detectives later located evidence that resulted in a delayed homicide call out. Homicide Detectives are now investigating the death.
