APD Homicide Investigation at Central and San Mateo

ALBUQUERQUE – APD Officers in the Southeast Area Command were dispatched about 12:30 a.m. to a report of a deceased individual behind the Walgreens at Central Ave. and San Mateo Blvd., S.E. An adult male was discovered with trauma that indicated he was murdered. Homicide detectives are arriving on scene to initiate an investigation.

 

UPDATE: The preliminary investigation determined the victim sustained at least one gunshot wound to his chest. Detectives are canvassing the area.
