APD asking for public’s help to locate murder suspect

ALBUQUERQUE – APD is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a murder suspect.

Isaich Roger Lujan, 42, is charged for the April 15, 2023, murder of Nathan Barela at the Comanche Wells Apartments, located at 3400 Comanche Rd., NE.

Lujan is accused of shooting Barela over a dispute involving a woman that Lujan was dating. Barela, died at the scene as a result of a single gunshot wound.

Police are actively searching for Lujan, who is charged with an open count of murder and tampering with evidence.
