APD Arrests Metro 15 Offender Anthony Blais

Blais has been identified as an offender who continuously commits crimes in the community.

Albuquerque Police officers arrested Metro 15 offender Anthony Blais, 31, on three outstanding warrants. He was also charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Blais has been identified as an offender who continuously commits crimes in the community. He is the 51st offender arrested since the Metro 15 operation began.

Blais has an extensive criminal history including multiple incidents of felony possession, trafficking narcotics, unlawful taking a motor vehicle, and possession with intent to distribute. Blais has been on the radar of Narcotics detectives for quite some time and his involvement with drug trafficking has been under investigation.

The Metro 15 Operation is a targeted component of Mayor Keller’s Violence Intervention Program – a proactive effort to attack violent crime from all sides. The Metro 15 is a working list of the top 15 violent crime offenders in Albuquerque.
