June 24, 2022

ALBUQUERQUE -- APD Homicide detectives arrested Decio Lee overnight and charged him for intentionally running over and killing his brother, Donovan Lee, during a dispute Thursday.

Decio Lee, 24, told detectives he met with his brother shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday at his residence, located at 11400 Cochiti Rd., S.E. He said they drank alcohol and had a verbal confrontation before Decio Lee left in a gray Honda. He said his brother followed him in a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Decio Lee said he did not remember anything about his brother’s death.

However, witnesses and video showed the two brothers exit their respective vehicles and appear to enter into a physical altercation. Decio Lee got into the truck and witnesses said he ran over his brother, Donovan Lee, and dragged him down the road.
