ALBUQUERQUE – APD detectives arrested a fourth suspect connected to the December 2022 shooting death of Albuquerque Academy student Jada Gonzales at a West Side house party.

Investigative detectives worked with officers from the Southwest Area Command on Friday to arrest Julian Prieb, 19, in the area of 57th St. and Ouray Rd., S.W.

Prieb was with a group of five males with guns that was kicked out of the house party on Dec. 17, 2022. Soon after the group was kicked out, several shots were fired into the house. One shot struck Gonzales, 18, who died as a result of her wounds.

Three other teens, Jesse Parra, Cruz Medina and Isaiah Espinoza, were arrested earlier this year for the murder. Detectives determined Prieb was with the other teens inside the car when shots were fired at the home.
