APD arrests 47 offenders in 44th Anti-Crime Operation

Operation results in 10 firearms recovered, 9 stolen vehicle and 310 moving citations.

APD completed its 44th city-wide Anti-Crime Operation.  The operation resulted in the arrest of an additional 47 offenders, bringing the total number of individuals arrested to 2,077 since the operations began in August 2020.

The Anti-Crime Operation was conducted June 12, 2021, through June 16, 2021. Officers and detectives from the Field Services Bureau, Investigative Bureau and Special Operations Bureau were all involved in this initiative.

A total of 48 outstanding warrants were cleared, and 43 new felony arrests were made. 310 moving citations were issued, 10 firearms and 9 stolen vehicles were recovered.

Since the beginning of the Anti-Crime Operations, 455 firearms have been recovered and 228 stolen vehicles have been recovered.

Not all offenders are booked into MDC. Some are arrested by our law enforcement partners and taken into federal custody, depending on their charges.
