APD Arrests 151 Offenders in Four Anti-Crime Operations

Officers and detectives from throughout the department participated in the operation.

APD completed its fourth city-wide, Anti-Crime Operation, resulting in the arrest of 151 offenders since Aug. 19.

The most recent operation was conducted Wednesday, Sept. 23, through Friday, Sept. 25. A total of 36 offenders were booked into the Metro Detention Center. The majority of the 36 offenders booked into jail these last three days have a criminal history for gun violence and property crimes.

Officers and detectives cleared 53 felony warrants; made 20 felony arrests; recovered 9 stolen vehicles; recovered 9 firearms; and issued 183 citations.

“We continue to make quality arrests throughout the city,” APD Chief Harold Medina said. “We want repeat offenders to know that we are not slowing down, and we are covering the entire city to drive down crime.”
