Join us for a fun day filled with activities for the whole family.
The new park features include a playground, nature play area, pump track, futsal court, playground, dog park, basketball court, softball fields, disc golf practice area, community garden, shade and performance area, and renovated turf field.
There will be performances courtesy of New Mexico Taiko (11:30 a.m.), Gecko Folklorico de East San Jose (12:30 p.m.), and the Youth Jazz Collaborative (1:00 p.m.); adoptable dogs courtesy of the Animal Welfare Department; games, etc. Come and learn how to use the pump track, play disc golf or basketball, and learn about how you can get involved in the park's community garden.
There will be a few food trucks at the event, including AC2 American Chinese, the Original Chicano Dog, and Pop-Pop's Italian Ice.
