Join the City of Albuquerque and the Office of Equity and Inclusion for World Refugee Day on Saturday, June 22 from 4 PM - 8 PM at the Civic Plaza. There will be multicultural pavilions, resources, vendors, naturalization ceremony, performances, music, art, activities, and much more!

World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honor refugees around the globe. It falls each year on June 20 and celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. World Refugee Day is an occasion to build empathy and understanding for their plight and to recognize their resilience in rebuilding their lives.

This event is free for all ages and there will be free parking in the Civic Plaza Underground Parking Structure. To get a parking voucher please make sure to register at the welcome table the day of the event.
