APD Chief Policy Advisor Xochitl Campos Biggs, LMSW.
Xochitl Campos Biggs, LMSW is the Chief Policy Advisor at the Albuquerque Police Department. Her primary duty is to further the Metro Crime Initiative by connecting with stakeholders, other law enforcement agencies, and constituents on identifying and working towards legislative priorities. Prior to this role she served the people of the Third Congressional District as the district director for Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez. Xochitl is a Licensed Master of Social Work. This is Xochitl’s second time working for CABQ, she was part of a multi-disciplinary public safety initiative known as CORA – which included a social worker, firefighter, and police officers – designed to connect community members who have experienced trauma to resources to support their healing. This program is now part of ACS. She is grateful to serve the people of Albuquerque in this role.
