Hello Albuquerque,

Happy Thanksgiving Albuquerque,

This year, many of us will be back around the table with loved ones, with the protection of a vaccine. Throughout this year, I have had so many opportunities to reflect on my gratitude for everyone who makes up our hometown. Albuquerque is facing our challenges and embracing our opportunities head-on, and even during the hardest points of the past year, we never let each other forget that we are in this together, always united in our work for a healthier, safer, more inclusive Albuquerque. We’re determined to continue the strong recovery that we’ve started, and work together to make this a year brighter than the last.

We’re on our way thanks to each individual act of resilience, determination, and service to the community that I have seen so many make time and again this year. I’m grateful today for you, for every teacher and parent, first responder and frontline worker, service member and community volunteer, small business owner and student for continuing to lift one another up. I hope you and yours have a warm and peaceful Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,
Mayor Tim Keller

Remember, although vaccines have made it safer to gather in small groups this holiday season, there are very important considerations to keep in mind to keep each other healthy. For the latest health guidance, take a moment to read the CDC’s 2021 Holiday guidance.
