Hello Albuquerque,

One of the things I’ve always admired about our community is our collaborative spirit and determination to face challenges head on. There is an understanding that we each play a role in making our city the best it can be. That is also the guiding philosophy at City Hall.

Day in and day out, our team at the City is putting this into practice, fighting together for our families and for the promise of Albuquerque. This comes in various forms. It looks like APD and Municipal Development working together to improve pedestrian safety with a dedicated task force and new signals and street striping. It looks like Animal Welfare, Parks & Recreation, and community members coming together at a dog park unveiling to connect folks with adoptable pets and to discuss how to make our neighborhoods stronger. It looks like our Health, Housing and Homelessness department and Albuquerque Community Safety working with local partners to improve outreach and connect unhoused folks across our city to resources.

A better Albuquerque is possible through partnership. As we navigate our challenges and successes together, we remain resolute in our commitment to making sure residents can thrive in a safer, more innovative city. If you’re looking for ways to get involved, I invite you to apply to serve on a City Board or volunteer with our team or various organizations throughout our city. We appreciate each and every one of you for being part of what makes Albuquerque so special.

Sincerely,

Mayor Tim Keller
