Mayor Tim Keller and the Parks and Recreation Department are making Albuquerque’s parks more inclusive and accessible to children of all abilities, thanks to funding allocated by the New Mexico State Legislature.

The Daniel Webster Inclusive Park is designed to help children of all abilities enjoy the playground experience. Phase 1 has been completed and Phase 2 and 3 are underway. Phase 2 and 3 will add turf grass, walkways and a themed development.

“This park and others like it mean no child in our city is excluded from one of the basic joys of childhood,” said Mayor Tim Keller.

Mayor Keller would like to thank State Senator Mimi Stewart and State Representative Debra Sariñana for their contributions to helping making this park a reality.
