City of Albuquerque Expands Free and Affordable Adult Programs
From Education to Health & Wellness, Programs Are Available to Support Adults’ Overall Wellness.
The City of Albuquerque is making it easier than ever for adults to access education, training, and wellness opportunities without the burden of high costs. From GED classes to workforce training, the City is committed to ensuring every resident has the resources to learn, grow, and succeed at any age.
Affordable ABQ, recently launched by Mayor Keller, is a citywide effort to connect residents with free and low-cost resources for education, childcare, food, housing, transportation, and more. By bringing programs and services together in one place, Affordable ABQ helps families stretch their budgets, reduce daily costs, and access opportunities. By making it easier to find and use these resources, we’re ensuring every resident has a fair shot at stability and success.
“Albuquerque is committed to making opportunity affordable and accessible to every resident,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “Whether it’s earning a GED, learning a new language, starting a business, or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, these programs break down barriers and help our community thrive.”
