U.S. Department of Energy requests a modification to their air quality permit in Application1900-M1
The applicant is requesting a modification to Permit #1900. The applicant is requesting to install a 464-HP diesel emergency generator. The applicant is also requesting to update the rated capacity of the existing emergency generator (Unit 1) from 380-hp to 364-hp, and update the emissions of Unit 1 as a result of this change. Both emergency generators will be allowed to operate a maximum of 500 hours per year.
