U.S. Air Force – Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) requests a modification to their air quality permit in Application #2105-M1
KAFB is requesting a modification to Permit #2105-RV1 to change the operational use of Kirtland AFB unit 19159 (Emission Unit 1) from a non-emergency to an emergency engine. The hourly emissions for the engine will remain the same; however, the annual emissions will be reduced significantly because it will be limited to operate a maximum of 200 hours per year.
