APD arrests 59 offenders in 24th Anti-Crime Operation

Operation results in 383 moving citations, 11 firearms, and 9 stolen vehicles recovered.

APD completed its 24th city-wide Anti-Crime Operation.  The operation resulted in the arrest of an additional 59 offenders, bringing the total number of individuals arrested to 1,122 since the operations began in August.

The Anti-Crime Operation was conducted February 22, 2021, through February 27, 2021. Officers and detectives from the Field Services Bureau, Investigative Bureau and Special Operations Bureau were all involved in this initiative.

A total of 40 outstanding warrants were cleared, and 25 new felony arrests were made. 383 moving citations were issued, 11 stolen firearms were recovered along with 9 stolen vehicles.
