APD arrests 49 offenders in 29th Anti-Crime Operation

Operation results in three firearms, and seven stolen vehicles recovered.

APD completed its 29th city-wide Anti-Crime Operation.  The operation resulted in the arrest of an additional 49 offenders, bringing the total number of individuals arrested to 1,403 since the operations began in August.

The Anti-Crime Operation was conducted March 27, 2021, through April 2, 2021. Officers and detectives from the Field Services Bureau, Investigative Bureau and Special Operations Bureau were all involved in this initiative.

A total of 49 outstanding warrants were cleared, and 19 new felony arrests were made. 110 moving citations were issued, 3 firearms were recovered along with 7 stolen vehicles.

Since the beginning of the Anti-Crime Operations, 307 firearms have been recovered and 163 stolen vehicles have been recovered.
