Latest Update

March 20, 2017:  The Comprehensive Plan will be before the full City Council on March 20th at 5:00 pm. Proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, to be heard by the Full Council on March 20th, can be found here.

The first draft of the Integrated Development Ordinance is scheduled to have it’s first hearing a the Environmental Planning Commission on April 6th, 2017.

  • June 2014: Request for Proposals (RFP) Issued
  • 12/15/2014 – Council accepts, EC-14-219, recommendation of contract award to consultant team led by Clarion Associates

  • Update of the Comprehensive Plan
  • Creation a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to update and replace, the Zoning Code, Development Process Manual, and other ordinances and policies regulating land use and transportation in the city to reflect best planning practices
