Latest Update

April 16, 2015: Comprehensive Plan workshops are planned for May and June of 2015 in locations throughout the metropolitan area (City and unincorporated Bernalillo County).  They will include presentations and visioning activities in small groups. The two meetings in May will have a community-wide focus; the four meetings in June will focus on quadrants of the City. We want to hear from you – come share your ideas for how Albuquerque-Bernalillo County should look, feel, and grow!

  • Update of the Comprehensive Plan
  • Creation a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to update and replace, the Zoning Code, Development Process Manual, and other ordinances and policies regulating land use and transportation in the city to reflect best planning practices
