Senior Affairs Seeks Volunteers to Help Deliver Meals Across Albuquerque

Volunteers needed to transport prepared meals from the City's central kitchen to senior meal sites

October 09, 2026

The City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs is seeking volunteers to help deliver meals from its central kitchen, CASA, to senior meal sites throughout Albuquerque.

Volunteers play an important role in supporting the department's nutrition program by helping ensure prepared meals reach participating centers where older adults gather for meals and social connection.

Volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Friday during morning hours, with flexible scheduling options.

Those interested in volunteering can learn more or sign up at OneABQvolunteers.com or contact the Department of Senior Affairs at 505-764-6400.

By giving their time, volunteers help sustain a service that older adults across Albuquerque rely on.
