APD Releases Stats on Southeast Big Box Store Holiday Tact Plan

ALBUQUERQUE – The Albuquerque Police Department wrapped up a holiday tact plan at big box stores in the Southeast which resulted in a handful of arrests, as well as seizures of drugs and guns.
The Southeast Project Response Team conducted the operation over the course of three days from November 25 through November 27th.
During the three days, officers seized 420 Fentanyl pills, as well as Methamphetamine, $3,500, and one firearm. Officers also cleared four felony warrants, two misdemeanor warrants, six shoplifting arrests, and five criminal trespassing notifications.
Individuals Arrested/Cited
- Nicholas Blawn: Issued a criminal trespass notification at Walgreens.
- Thomas Griffin: Arrested at Walgreens for a felony warrant, Trafficking Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), Resisting and Evading. Thomas had $3,500, 420 Fentanyl pills, and methamphetamine. There was a firearm (Feg Union) and ammunition inside the vehicle which was tagged as safekeeping. Photo was attached.
- Robert Austin: Cited for shoplifting ($68.36) and issued a criminal trespass notification at Walmart.
- Ralph Cheykaychi: Contacted at 1100 San Mateo Blvd NE (Ace Hardware). Ralph was arrested for one felony warrant, two misdemeanor warrants and battery on a peace officer.
- Louisa Baca: Cited for shoplifting at Walmart.
- Kiera Ensey: Cited for shoplifting ($4.47) and she was issued a criminal trespass notification at Walmart.
- Peter Delao: Cited for shoplifting and he issued a criminal trespass notification at Walmart.
- Andrea Santee: Cited for shoplifting ($48.48) at Walmart.
- Raymundo Ochoa: Arrested for two felony warrants and possession of fentanyl and meth.
- Carlton Tenorio: Arrested for shoplifting ($85.09) and evading police.
- David Neher: Issued a Criminal Trespass Notification at 2950 Central Ave SE.
- Olivia Sedillo: Cited for shoplifting, battery and she was issued a criminal trespass notification at Walmart.
