APD releases investigative updates

ALBUQUERQUE – APD released the following investigative updates from homicide investigations:
Date: Jan. 21, 2023
Location: 7900 Bell Ave., S.E.
Time: 3:57 a.m.
The victim was an adult female who died as a result of a gunshot wound. She has not yet been positively identified. This case is being investigated as a homicide.
Date: Jan. 21, 2023
Location: 1-40 offramp at 98th Street
Time: 1:10 p.m.
An adult male who is believed to be homeless was found deceased in an open field where he had been staying. Detectives determined he suffered significant trauma. The victim has not yet been positively identified. This case is being investigated as a homicide.

Location: 8300 Constitution NE
Time: 9:50 p.m.
The victim in this incident, identified as Christopher Hernandez (1/15/1994), was dropped off at Kaseman Hospital with a gunshot wound. He died at the hospital as a result of the wound. Officers determined the shooting occurred in the area of Lomas Blvd. and Tramway Rd., N.E. This case is being investigated as a homicide.
