APD Investigation Updates
APD’s Homicide Unit released the following updates from early morning investigations:
Date: Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021
Location: 715 Gold Ave., S.W.
Time: 4 a.m.
Summary: Officers in the Valley Area Command were on patrol in the area of Gold Ave. and 7th St., N.W. and located a male individual in a vehicle who was unresponsive. The Officers attempted to render aid, however, the male did not respond to the aid, and ultimately succumbed to his wounds on scene.
Date: Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021
Location: Motel 6, 1000 Avenida Cesar Chavez, S.E.
Time: 6 a.m.
Summary: Southeast Area Command Field Service Bureau officers were dispatched to 1000 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE #221 where an unknown individual reported a male was deceased. Officers arrived on scene and noticed a male who suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest and was deceased.
