APD ID’s 26 Murder Suspects in First Six Weeks of the Year
ALBUQUERQUE – APD’s Homicide Unit has identified 26 murder suspects in the first six weeks of the year. Of those, 24 have been arrested, 1 is deceased, and 1 is wanted.
“Our investment in detective academies and the overhaul of our investigative units continues to pay off,” APD Chief Harold Medina said. “Homicides are down and our detectives are solving most cases, which sends a message that offenders are not going to get away with their crimes.”
Below is a full list of the dates when the homicides occurred, locations and suspect identities. One suspect is not listed because the warrant is sealed.
